On arrival our team will assist you to the vehicle for the further journey. Driver will set your luggage and then you will depart for your dream destinations. Throughout your journey, you can enjoy the versatility in climate. Pleasant weather will win your heart completely. On the way, you will pass through Mahananda Wild life Sanctuary (Not a sightseeing point) and more this journey offers magnificent views of the mountains, valleys and village life, the forest, waterfalls along with Teesta River view.
After around 05 hrs drive, reach Gangtok, check in at hotel and take rest. We suggest you to have good sleep for next day tour. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Wake up around 07.30 am and get fresh and have heavy breakfast till 09.00am. After receiving permit we drive you to Tsomgo Lake / Chhangu Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pure clear water remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and Yak Ride. There is a ropeway also to enjoy aerial view of Lake. Proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (“Hero of Nathula” An Indian soldiers who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra medal for his bravery and known for doing his duty still after death). Please carry some snacks / fruit as there is no option for food.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft / 4200M) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Monday) for Indian Nationals only with 2 Days Advance Request at an additional cost. (Permit for Nathula Pass is subject to availability)
Back to Gangtok city for late Lunch. Take some rest. Or you may visit the famous M G Marg (by own arrangement). It is now more like a long stretch of open mall or avenue square where locals and tourists take leisure stroll or just sit and relax on one of the many benches laid along the middle and both sides of the road to enjoy the ambience. The entire area is free of litter, smoke and vehicle. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Documents need to carry: Original id proof (Anyone out of Voter ID/ D.L/ Passport) + 02 Photocopies + 04 Passport size photos. (Pan Card & Aadhar Cards are not acceptable)
Post breakfast check out from hotel, driver will report you after receiving permit for North Sikkim then drive to Lachen in North Sikkim (Alt 9175Ft / 2750M). after 03 hrs drive take you Lunch at a local restaurant of Mangan. On the way visit Singhik, Butterfly Water Falls, Chungthang Confluence. Check in at local Guest house or hotel. Free evening and Overnight stay at Lachen.
Early morning have light breakfast or pack it. Start around 05 am. drive to Thangu Village (Alt 13625Ft / 4100M), a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads and also proceed further to view of Chopta Valley (Alt 13325Ft / 4000M) to get some breathtaking view of alpine valley of frozen rivers. From Chopta Valley drive for another 30kms in 1.5hr to Gurudongmar Lake (Alt 17375Ft / 5225M) close to Tibet Border, the one of the Highest and biggest fresh water lakes in Sikkim. Back to Lachen for Lunch.
Lachen to Lachung, 50kms in 2.5hrs – Check out from Lachen and drive further to Lachung (Alt 8075Ft / 2425M) via Chungthang. On route visit Chungthang Confluence and Vimnala Water Falls. Check in at hotel. Free evening for leisure. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Early morning have light breakfast or pack it. Start around 06-07 am. Yumthang is popularly known as ‘Valley of Flowers. It is also home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, and has over 24 species of the Rhododendron, the state flower. A vast flat greeny landscape in the lap of “The great Himalaya” covered with tree and a glacier flowing through it is enough to make you speechless. You can see snow here in every season. You will feel like to be in Heaven. Return to Lachung Hotel for prepaid lunch.
Optional Yumesamdong or Zero Point (Alt 15750Ft / 4725M) for Indian tourists only– From Yumthang Valley you can drive for another 30kms in 1.30hr to Yumesamdong or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (At an additional cost).
Lachung to Gangtok, 120 kms in 05 hrs
After lunch, Check out from Lachung hotel and drive back to Gangtok (Alt 5550Ft / 1675M) via Chungthang. Check in at hotel by late afternoon. Overnight stay at Gangtok
Check out from Hotel and depart for Pelling (Alt 7175Ft / 2150M).

In Namchi, The 135 feet high statue of Guru Padamasambhava is present at Samdruptse. The Chardham covers about 7 acres of land. It consists of a huge idol of Lord Shiva which is about 87ft tall. After reaching at Pelling, we assist you to check in at hotel and take rest. We suggest you to sleep early for next day tour. Overnight stay at Pelling hotel.
Pelling comes under west district of Sikkim and It is famous for its breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga and its ranges. It has a rich history, natural environment and local culture. Weather & scenic beauty both combined make it a Good Naturothereopist. Its pollution free environment makes you feel stress free and energetic.
Local sightseeing of Pelling starts with visiting popular tourist points like Sky Walk, Rimbi Waterfalls, Kanchendzonga Water Falls and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, Rabdentse Palace Ruins. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Post breakfast, check out from Hotel and drive towards IXB / NJP. With lots of scenic beauty of his region and lovely moments, your heart will not allow you to leave this place but your destination is waiting for you. Our driver will drop you at NJP Railway Station /IXB Bagdogra Airport for further journey. Today your tour with Northeast Tour ends. Fly back with sweet memories of Northeast Tour.
