On arrival our team will assist you to the vehicle for the further journey. Driver will set your luggage and then you will depart for your dream destinations. On the way, you will pass through Mahananda Wild life Sanctuary (Not a sightseeing point) and more this journey offers magnificent views of the mountains, valleys and village life, the forest, waterfalls along with Teesta River view.
After around 05 hrs drive, reach Gangtok, check in at hotel and take rest. We suggest you to have good sleep for next day tour. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Wake up around 07.30 am and get fresh and have heavy breakfast till 09.00am. After receiving permit we drive you to Tsomgo Lake / Chhangu Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pure clear water remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and Yak Ride. There is a ropeway also to enjoy aerial view of Lake. Proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (“Hero of Nathula” An Indian soldiers who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra medal for his bravery and known for doing his duty still after death). Please carry some snacks / fruit as there is no option for food.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft / 4200M) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Monday) for Indian Nationals only with 2 Days Advance Request at an additional cost. (Permit for Nathula Pass is subject to availability)
Back to Gangtok city for late Lunch. Take some rest. Or you may visit the famous M G Marg (by own arrangement). It is now more like a long stretch of open mall or avenue square where locals and tourists take leisure stroll or just sit and relax on one of the many benches laid along the middle and both sides of the road to enjoy the ambience. The entire area is free of litter, smoke and vehicle. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Documents need to carry: Original id proof (Anyone out of Voter ID/ D.L/ Passport) + 02 Photocopies + 04 Passport size photos. (Pan Card & Aadhar Cards are not acceptable)
Post breakfast Half day Gangtok City tour – (Timing: 09.30AM to 1.00PM).
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Rope way, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Do-drul Chorten.
Gangtok to Pelling, 130kms in 4.30hrs – After sightseeing depart for Pelling (Alt 7175Ft / 2150M). Mt. Kanchendzonga can easily be seen here. Reach Pelling hotel by late evening, we assist you to check in at hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Pelling
Pelling comes under west district of Sikkim and It is famous for its breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga and its ranges. It has a rich history, natural environment and local culture. Weather & scenic beauty both combined make it a Good Naturothereopist. Its pollution free environment makes you feel stress free and energetic.
Local sightseeing of Pelling starts with visiting popular tourist points like Sky Walk, Rimbi Waterfalls, Kanchendzonga Water Falls and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, Rabdentse Palace Ruins. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, Depart towards Darjeeling. Evening is free for leisure or to roam the local area, see their culture, activities, diversity & trend and also feel the difference between city life and hill life. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Start your day early morning 4.00am with visiting Tiger hill sunrise point. 11 km far from city, you will watch the combined beauty of different colors, clouds, hills, snowy Mt. Kanchendzonga and vast landscape of Darjeeling. You can’t forget these moments ever. On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. (Timing 4.00am to 7.30am)
Get freshen up and post breakfast visit most famous tourist points including Darjeeling Zoo, Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Outer view of Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee center (Closed on Sunday) and Japanese temple & Peace pagoda. (Timing 9.30 to 2.30).
Evening is free for leisure or to roam the Chowrasta, local market, see their culture, activities, diversity & trend and also feel the difference between city life and hill life. Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Post breakfast, check out from Hotel and drive towards IXB / NJP. On the way, we will take you to the famous man made Sumendu Lake or can say Mirik Lake where you get scenic views with the central attraction as the 1.25kms long lovely lake surrounded by Dhupi trees on it western bank and a vast garden on the eastern bank. Mirik is a tranquil laid back hill station. There are vantage points from where you can get lovely sights of Kanchenjunga snow peaks. And of course the area is surrounded by many rolling tea estates on mountain slopes. Enjoy boating and horse riding (on direct payment basis). On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal (needs an extra vehicle in Nepal side). Our service will be till India border. You have to cross the border by showing ID Proof. Now a day this market is very famous among tourist. Mirik to IXB / NJP is around 02 hrs drive.
With lots of scenic beauty of his region and lovely moments, your heart will not allow you to leave this place but your destination is waiting for you.
