Tour Itinerary Details

Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong 110 kms in 03 hrs drive

Morning after on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative and drive towards Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 5 hours journey (approximately), we check-in at a city Hotel. We visit Elephant Fall and Shillong Peak. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 2: Mawlynnong & Dawki excursion

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge. After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, he Umngot river is the natural bound0ary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed.  Overnight at Shillong.

Day 3: At Cherrapunjee (Double Decker Root Bridge Trek) – Full Day

Wake up early, have your breakfast and go for trekking to the Double Decker living root bridge, El natural water falls swimming pool and Rainbow Falls. Evening return to the resort. Overnight in Cherrapunjee

Day 4: Cherrapunjee Sightseeing and Guwahati transfer

Morning after breakfast explore Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister falls, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park, Dainthlen Fall, Arwah cave, Garden cave. Later back to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 5: Guwahati to Kaziranga 100 kms in 04-05 hrs drive

After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park n the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening enjoy local cultural programme (Bihu Dance Show).Overnight stay in resort in Kaziranga.

Day 6: Wild Life Experience by Jungle Safari & transfer to Dirang 240 kms in 06 hrs

After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Eastern Range for an Elephant Ride. After the ride return back to the Hotel. After breakfast transfer to Dirang. En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Overnight stay in Hotel in Dirang.

Day 7: Dirang to Tawang 140 kms in 05 hrs drive via Sela Pass

At morning after breakfast visit proceed to Tawang en-route visit hot spring, the Sela Pass (13703 ft) for Tawang spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. Reaching Tawang (143 km, 7hrs) check in at Hotel Overnight at Tawang.

Day 8: Bumla Pass - Ptso Lake – Madhuri Lake – War Memorial Show

Morning day starts with Bumla pass, PTSO lake & Madhuri lake sightseeing’s. Back to hotel by evening & visit Tawang War Memorial and Show. Night stay in Tawang.

Day 9: Tawang to Bomdila 180 kms in 06 hrs drive

Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls (Nuranang falls). Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and downhill drive (185km, 7hrs) to Bomdila. Overnight at Hotel at Bomdila.

Day 10: Bomdila to Guwahati 270 kms in 07-08 hrs drive

Today morning after breakfast, checked out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Reached Guwahati check in at city hotel, evening free for leisure.  Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 11: Guwahati Airport drop

Early Morning after breakfast visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Peethas in the country. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport for the onward journey.
